Approximately 5,000 HV injection bolts were needed for the emergency repairs to the Merwede Bridge. Archey played a key role by providing a detailed quote to the VolkerRail & Mercon Steelstructures B.V. (ViVo) construction consortium on the day the request was made. After approval by Rijkswaterstaat, the HV injection bolts were delivered to the construction site within the specified timeframe and installed immediately, contributing to a quick and effective repair of the bridge.

Result
Archey supplied HV injection assemblies for the repair of the Merwede Bridge. These assemblies consist of a standard HV prestressing bolt with a 3.2 mm hole that is fully drilled through and 50% reamed to 5.5 mm, an HV injection prestressing nut, an HV washer with a recessed chamber, and an HV washer with a vent groove. Our high-quality products meet the specific requirements for such demanding applications and contribute to the structural integrity of the bridge.
