These tension anchors are made of grade 8.8, from pre-material 42CrMo4, which ensures that these have superior tensile strength and yield strength. To also have a good corrosion resistance and be able to maintain a solid connection for a long time, even in salty sea environments such as the Oosterschelde in the province of Zeeland in the Netherlands, these anchors are supplied with a special coating called "Flammspritzverzinken" (comparable to hot-dip galvanizing but with better corrosion resistance). This ensures that structures remain firmly in place even after decades of environmental wear and tear.

For this project, Peco Douwes may supply very special anchors. These prestressing anchors are supplied in diameters M48 and M56, with lengths up to over 11 meters!
