Saint-Nazaire

The first offshore wind farm project in France is currently being built off the coast of Saint-Nazaire.
The Project
This groundbreaking project, carried out by Eolien Maritime France (EMF), a joint venture between EDF Renewables and the Canadian energy infrastructure company Enbridge, promises to make a significant contribution to the sustainable energy supply. The wind farm is expected to generate enough energy to supply 20 percent of the electricity for the Loire-Atlantique department, marking a major step toward making the region more sustainable.
The Challenge
Precise planning and on-time delivery play a crucial role in the construction of the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm. Iemants Steel Constructions, known for its tight project schedules and strict deadlines, has partnered with Archey because of our reliable deliveries and excellent service. This long-standing professional partnership has led to Archey being selected as the trusted partner for fasteners in this important project.
