Schreirs Bridge
The renovation of the Schreiers Bridge is necessary because the ring road has been upgraded from an 80 km/h to a 100 km/h freeway. The bridge's drive system requires intensive maintenance and is not sufficiently safe in the current situation.
The challenge
Maintenance cannot be carried out without traffic facilities. The drives are outdated and in need of replacement, in addition, the drives require a lot of maintenance. During this maintenance, the bridge was briefly out of service and the renovation had to be carried out within a short time frame.
Hillebrand
For this project, Hillebrand's work planner asked us if we could deliver very quickly to avoid downtime during the renovation and closure. Within one day he had the requested special 10.9 bolts and corresponding nuts and washers at the requested location . He was very pleased with our solution and service.
