Alkitronic has a specific line of radial and tangential torque multipliers for loosening and tightening the plates of heat exchangers in pneumatic or electric versions. Alkitronic R-series radial torque multiplier tools have a hexagonal passage so they can be used with threaded rods.

The series can be used on hexagon from 46 to 80 mm and have a range of up to 4,800 Nm. In addition, Alki supplies a wide range of adapters (SW 36MM to 70MM) to accommodate virtually any type of threaded rod. The reaction arm can be optionally positioned at 1 of 2 positions to optimally position the tool.
